H.E Louis Kwaku Aryee receives a full scholarship from Vice Chancellor : GCTU commissions state of the art computer lab

    Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) has officially commissioned a cutting-edge computer laboratory, a pioneering project spearheaded by the Association of Computing Students (ACS) under the visionary leadership of President Louis Kwaku Aryee.

 The laboratory, commissioned by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Emmanuel Ohene Afoakwa, represents a significant milestone in GCTU's quest for academic excellence. Prof. Afoakwa commended the ACS leadership, Dean of FoCIS Dr. Brown-Acquaye, and the student body for their unwavering dedication to enhancing the university's infrastructure.

Vice Chancellor commissions the new lab 

The modern computer lab is designed to equip students with hands-on experience, enabling them to hone their skills in a real-world setting. Dr. Brown-Acquaye announced plans for a second lab focused on Networking and Internet of Things (IoT), further solidifying GCTU's commitment to advancing student education.

 Mr. Aryee expressed heartfelt thanks to the Vice-Chancellor, faculty members, and supporters for their contributions. He emphasized the project's significance, highlighting security enhancements, including 24/7 camera surveillance. Mr. Aryee unveiled plans for a second lab, underscoring the association's dedication to elevating computing education. He concluded by thanking the Vice-Chancellor for the opportunity to pursue his postgraduate studies (Masters/PhD) on a full scholarship, fulfilling his dream of becoming a reputable lecturer at GCTU.
