Dorcas Affo-Toffey, the Member of Parliament representing the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, has made a significant contribution to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) by donating GHC200,000. This generous gesture underscores her strong support for the party's flagbearer, John Mahama, and the NDC's broader efforts to secure victory in the upcoming December 7th elections.
The donation was made during a fundraising event organized by the NDC's Western Regional Caucus, which was attended by several high-profile members of the party, including former President John Mahama.
John Mahama expressed his gratitude, stating that the funds would be instrumental in supporting the party's operations across the Western Region as they work to galvanize support for the upcoming elections.
Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle and the Western Regional Chairman of the Fundraising Committee, also expressed his enthusiasm about the donation. "As the chairman of the Western Regional Fundraising Committee, I am elated by the outcome of this event and confident that it will significantly boost our campaign's momentum throughout the region," he remarked.
Mr. Armah-Buah further emphasized that the Western Region is ready to deliver a decisive victory for John Mahama and the NDC in the December 7th general elections, bolstered by the renewed energy and commitment within the party.
